Food for Thought! 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃

I know it's been a bit since I've posted šŸ˜…

I've been away, sick, and then quite busy šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

Since today is a day where we're planning to stuff our faces - we, of course, want to include our furry companions. šŸ•

However, there are foods dogs can and cannot have šŸ’šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Many of the above foods can contain seasonings or ingredients that can hurt your dog. Ham can be high in sodium which is definitely a no no for dogs. Cooked bones should NEVER be fed to your dog; they can splinter and cause internal injuries. Chocolate has caffeine and most candies have xylitol - both when, consumed in large quantities, can be fatal.

•Turkey meat should not contain seasoning, so avoid giving them the skin. Other than that, let them enjoy a small plate of that delicious turkey!

•Apples are great treats for dogs! Please avoid giving your dog seeds - too many apple seeds ae toxic!

•As long as potatoes are boiled/baked without any add-ons like sour cream, butter, etc. your pup will love the extra side dish!

•Green beans should be plain - no seasoning!

•Of course your dog should have dessert! Plain frozen yogurt with added blueberries and strawberries is a wonderful treat! šŸ˜‹

So let your pup feast and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃
